Chelsea have agreed on a £35m deal for Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to latest reports from Tutto Mercato in Italy.

The AS Monaco midfielder is a vital part of the French club’s set up in midfield, earning plaudits for his solidity in the middle of the park.
AS Monaco are cruising through in their domestic league as they stand at the summit of Ligue 1. But their performances in Europe, are equally praise-worthy as they enter the quarterfinals of Champions League.
The current Ligue 1 leaders beat Manchester City in a high-scoring thriller to enter the last 8 of the competition. One standout performer in their second leg was midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The midfielder commendably protected his back four and also drove his team forward as they looked for goals.
Reports from Tutto Mercato suggest, the deal is on between the current English runaway leaders and Monaco. The French midfielder could replace Nemanja Matic in current Chelsea set-up.
Moreover, the midfielder could sign a five-year deal with the 2012 Champions League winners as Antonio Conte looks to architect a Blue revolution.

Chelsea have dominated the domestic competitions so far this season. The Blues are currently leading the league table by ten points and face Tottenham in FA Cup semifinals at Wembley.
However, the West London side definitely are aware of the defending EPL champions syndrome in recent seasons. With necessary additions, Chelsea look to replicate their current domination next season.
