Watford vs West Ham: Goals from Richarlison and Will Hughes inspire Watford to a 2-0 victory over West Ham.
Watford vs West Ham

Watford took on a West Ham side rejuvenated with the arrival of a new manager in the only clash of the PL on Sunday.
The team from London showed fierce commitment in the early minutes of the game. They pressed high up the pitch, didn’t offer any room for the Watford players in the final third and kept the majority of the possession.
However, it was the home team who spilled first blood through Will Hughes’ first goal for the club. The midfielder scrapped off a loose ball hit by fellow team mate Andre Gray and put it past Hart’s right in the 11th minute.
Eventually, the Hornets took control of the first half holding up the play and showed their dynamism with great utilization of the flanks.
As identical with a Marco Silva side, they backed themselves on counters while goalkeeper Gomes showed us time and again why he is Watford’s no.1 with some outstanding saves.
In the second half, the game opened up a little bit, bubbling up with chances on both ends of the pitch and Watford gave Hart a run for his money making him pull out a magnificent save.
As the game progressed however ,Watford showed a greater swagger about their play and the pressure pulled off.  West Ham struggled defensively once again in the 64th minute with Richarlison dribbling and slotting home a delightful ball by Hughes to grab Watford’s second.
In comparison, Watford looked a much more composed and expressive side to grab their 5th win of the season.

Moyes returns to the Premier League

It ended up all doom and gloom for David Moyes in his return to the Premier League. The Hammers’ boss took a difficult job with the London club who haven’t registered a win in their last 5 PL outings.
After being out of a managerial job for over a year, he put out a spirited side which looked hungry but were
overpowered by a much resilient Watford side.
However, the Scottish manager will surely take some positives from his team’s performance in the day but result wise, he returned empty handed away from Vicarage Road.
