AS Monaco vs RB Leipzig Team News, Expected Lineups & Live Stream Info

AS Monaco vs RB Leipzig: German young guns RB Leipzig take on a Monaco side knowing that a win could potentially take them to second position on the group.

AS Monaco vs RB Leipzig
The Tuesday night meeting is a guaranteed screamer as both the teams need to battle for supremacy to keep their hopes for knockout stages intact.
Leipzig‘s young and attack-minded coach Hasenhuttl will look to take an advantage of Monaco’s poor form in Europe this season to win a do-or-die match for his team. The Bundesliga runners up last season haven’t played up to their standards in Champions League with defeats against Besiktas and Porto hampering their qualification chances.
On the other hand, Monaco were firm favorites to lead the group, esp. on the back of a semifinal run last season.  However, the men in red and white have failed to register a single victory so far.
Meanwhile, Monaco have won 5 of their 6 home games in League 1 looking impeccable, scoring 21 goals. Leipzig on the  other hand have a 50% win ratio in away games producing just 5 wins in 10 competitive matches.

Team News

Leonardo Jardim’s men will be without explosive winger Thomas Lemar. The French international is out with a shoulder injury. Other notable absentees are Sidibe and Traore, both out with a knock and illness respectively.
RB Leipzig wont be able to play midfielder Stefan Ilsankar who has been out for months with a toe injury. Moreover, Forsberg, Halstenberg and Konate are all out of contention due to injuries.
