AC Milan spent a total of 175 million pounds last summer and expectations rose up quickly at San Siro. However, the expectations have taken a rapid U-turn after Milan already fall sixteen points below league leaders, Napoli.
Their domestic record though hasn’t continued in Europe as the Rossoneri will only need a win to get through the next stage of the tournament.
Despite a huge setback in domestic campaign so far, AC Milan no doubt have a strong core to their team.
Former Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci joined the club in a massive statement along with Andre Silva and Anrea Conti in the summer. Halkan Calhanoglu joined the trio in a massive summer influx. Milan also signed defenders Mateo Musacchio  and Ricardo Rodriguez along with Lucas Biglia to strengthen their squad.
Meanwhile, Austria Wien have also struggled this season in the league. Last season’s runners up in Austrian Bundesliga find themselves at sixth currently, 15 points behind the leaders.

Injuries:

AC Milan will continue to play without injured Andrea Conti who is set to return in March. Lucas Biglia is likely to return to the starting lineup after getting a nod in bench in the weekend.
Moreover, Milan will be without suspended players Gabriel and Hachim Mastour.
In the meantime, Vienna are dealing with three long term injures including the likes of Heiko Westermann, Ruan and goalkeeper Robert Almer.
Milan coach Vincenzo Montella is on pressure from all ends and requires a win to buy him some time. The five-time Champions League winner will look to win the Europa League this season to seal a Champions League qualification spot next term.
