With Premier League fixtures coming thick and thin, it’s time to catch up to the scores in Fantasy Premier League if you already haven’t. The time between now and end of the Christmas period will define your season just like the rest of the Premier League.
In our new series, we will present you with weekly tips, our captain suggestions and best buys and sales.
Captain suggestion for Gameweek 15
Premier League managers will rotate even their star players, with fixtures piling up soon. It’s for the best if you select your captain to someone who will start this game-week for sure.
Our suggestion is the high-flying Eden Hazard who didn’t start for Chelsea in the midweek. Antonio Conte will most definitely start him on the weekend and should be your primary captain choice. If you have him on the team, don’t think for a second before you captain him.
Meanwhile, another player you could captain is Leroy Sane who didn’t start in the midweek too. Pep has consistently rotated with Sane and Sterling this season – so it’s safe to assume Leroy Sane will get a starting nod on Sunday.
Chelsea’s young defender Andres Christensen looks comfortable in the middle of the back three, as he further cements his place ahead of David Luiz. The Dane available just for 5.4 could be your option from Chelsea’s defence.
Nevertheless, for the other defensive options, we pick Burnley’s Matthew Lowton along with Kyle Naughton. Swansea have performed well in the last two games defensively conceding just one in two game-weeks.
In midfield, Chelsea loanee Ruben Loftus-Cheek is on form for Crystal Palace especially after opening his book on the weekend. Mohamed Salah, Eden Hazard and Richarlison are our go-to midfielders in the recent game-weeks while Leroy Sane seems the perfect choice for City this week.
Moreover, I would pick Harry Kane every game week for his consistent goalscoring form for Spurs. Manchester City are scoring goals for fun at the moment, but it’s for the best to avoid having any of their strikers. Pep has rotated continuously with his strikers, and it’s a case of a hit and miss.
Finally, Olivier Giroud could be one of the options in your forward lineup with Alexandre Lacazette out through injury. The Frenchman scored two against Huddersfield and is likely to get a starting nod in the next few league games.
