Brighton is convinced that Arsenal will cover Moises Caicedo’s transfer cost, which would help to secure the Ecuadorian international’s move to the Emirates Stadium.
According to the transfer rumors, the personal terms that Caicedo and Arsenal agreed upon in January are still in effect, and the club has spoken with the player’s representation numerous times.
Additionally, Arsenal is aware of the Seagulls’ asking price, which is £75 million for the 21-year-old. Brighton are confident that Mikel Arteta’s group will accept that cost.
The new Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp are also big fans of the player, so there may be a sting in the tail for the Gunners.

However, Caicedo wants to compete in the Champions League next season, which puts Arsenal in a strong position to close a deal.
After missing out on Caicedo in January, Arteta’s team is again interested in acquiring him. They believed the deal was almost finished then, and now they are returning to finish it.
Arsenal wants two midfielders this summer; therefore, they are not abandoning their pursuit of Declan Rice from West Ham by signing Caicedo.
The Gunners have made fantastic progress on this deal, and Rice is rumored to have made them his primary choice for a move during the summer season. The 24-year-old is up for grabs, and Manchester United and Bayern Munich are two of the biggest threats.
Mason Mount, a midfielder for Chelsea, has also been linked with a move to the Gunners. However, the England player is a backup plan if one of their top two priorities fails.
