Bournemouth are reportedly in talks with AS Roma to secure the signing of winger Justin Kluivert.
Kluivert has just finished his loan spell away from his parent club at Spanish side Valencia and now Roma are looking to sell the player permanently.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth have met with Roma director Tiago Pinto, who travelled to England to seal a potential deal for Kluivert. Bournemouth want to sign the player permanently.
The talks are at an advanced stage and both parties are confident of making the deal happen. Bournemouth will still have to agree personal terms with the player.
Kluivert is the son of former football legend Patrick Kluivert and was touted to be one of the most sought after prospects when he was coming through the Ajax academy.

He went to Roma in 2018 but failed to shine in the Italian capital and has been on 3 separate loan spells in the last 3 seasons.
The Dutchman has featured around 50 times for both Ajax and Roma and has also made 2 appearances for the Netherlands national side.
Bournemouth are looking to strengthen the squad that finished 15th in the league after a late-season charge by Gary O’Neil’s men. They looked down and out by the middle of the season but managed to survive relegation and even finish 5 points above relegation.
Bournemouth cannot just rest on their laurels though as they were struggling to get out of the bottom three for large parts of the season and will be hoping for an improved start to the season next time around.
This is why they are looking to improve on their squad with Kluivert, who can provide a breath of fresh air to the Cherries. The 24-year-old is yet to prove himself at the highest stage and Bournemouth will be looking to give him a platform to do so.
