Liverpool get boost for bolstering their midfield

Rabiot was frequently mentioned as a potential summer transfer to Manchester United. But now he has praised Steven Gerrard, one of Liverpool’s all-time greatest players, in a speech about their fierce rivals.

Speaking to Tuttosport, he said: “I loved Liverpool a lot because I was a bit fan of Steven Gerrard, who made me dream, and so therefore, I followed the Reds.” He then added: “My other idol was Zinedine Zidane.”

Jurgen Klopp still needs new legs even though players like Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, and Stefan Bajcetic are progressing well.

Rabiot demonstrated his class at the World Cup by helping France reach a second straight final.

He joined Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain, where he appeared in more than 200 games, and has since featured in more than 150 matches for the Old Lady.
