Newcastle United are reportedly preparing an offer for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jesper Lindstrom, who is a target for Arsenal.
Eddie Howe is eager to bolster his squad ahead of next season and is set to make some interesting additions. Newcastle is now poised to make a move for Lindstrom. He was also on fire for Frankfurt last season.
He scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 38 games across all competitions. The 23-year-old is a versatile player who can play as an attacking midfielder or winger on either flank.
His performances have piqued the interest of several Premier League clubs. Arsenal and Liverpool, for example, had previously held talks with Frankfurt about signing Lindstrom.
Tottenham is also interested in the Denmark international. As a result, he appears to be on his way to the Premier League this summer.
So it will be intriguing to see if Newcastle can outperform other Premier League teams. If they do, he might play a significant part for them next season.
According to Bild, Newcastle has expressed concrete interest in signing Lindstrom. AC Milan has also joined them in the race.

According to the article, it can be presumed that both teams are preparing an offer for the Dane.
RB Leipzig previously had an offer of €25 million (about £21.5 million) rejected for Lindstrom. As a result, Newcastle will have to bid higher in order to close the transaction.
Indeed, the attacker is under contract with Frankfurt until 2026, so there is no immediate need to sell him.
As a result, the Magpies may have to pay a fee of around €40 million (£34.4 million) to win the fight for his signature. According to Bild, this shouldn’t be a problem.
Lindstrom has previously stated his desire to compete in the Champions League. Personal terms should not be a problem for Newcastle.
“I want to play where it’s fun,” he stated, “and I think it’s fun to play in the Champions League and big tournaments.”
Given this, it will be intriguing to watch if Newcastle makes an initial approach for Lindstrom in the coming weeks. But, as previously stated, they will need to act swiftly because there is a lot of interest in him right now.
